|Nancy Magar, MA, CCC-SLP, COM is a native of the Puget Sound area and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington. In 1992, Nancy graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Western Washington University.
Nancy is a Board Certified Orofacial Myologist through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). She is one of a few select individuals in the entire state of Washington who is both a Certified Orofacial Myologist and Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She has served on the Board of Directors for the IAOM for three terms and has been on numerous committees within the IAOM. Nancy is also a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Washington Speech and Hearing Association. She has extensive training and experience with feeding, oral motor, speech articulation and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Nancy enjoys traveling and attending sporting events with her family. She's very involved with the passions of her children which include her daughter's love of dance and theatre and her son's dedication to basketball.
