Language Disorders

We treat receptive and expressive language disorders.

Receptive Language Challenges: If your child struggles to grasp the meaning of spoken or written communication, it could indicate a receptive language disorder.

Expressive Language Difficulties: Should your child find it challenging to articulate their thoughts or convey their message effectively, they might be experiencing an expressive language disorder.

We offer support for both conditions. Research indicates that up to 5% of children may face expressive and/or receptive language issues before entering first grade. These are not mere phases but conditions that are highly responsive to intervention.

Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for the most successful outcomes in managing language disorders. If you notice your child facing hurdles in expression or comprehension, don't hesitate to book an appointment or arrange a meeting with us today. Your proactive steps can make a significant difference in your child's communication abilities.
If a child is not able to communicate well in a group setting, the can suffer socially and academically. This is a treatable problem and should be treated sooner rather than later. The older the child gets without this being treated, the harder it is to treat.
